Page to Stage Winners Announced

1 May 2014

The Page to Stage competition has closed, the scripts have been read and the winners decided! Entrants were invited to submit scripts that were no more than 20 pages in length or 20 minutes in performance time. The judges were looking for originality and scope for development. The winners will share £350 of bursaries and be offered the use of professional rehearsal facilities to help them develop their script for a performance night at Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre.

There have been some fantastic entries and it was extremely hard to decide upon our winners. Tacchi-Morris would like to thank all those who entered and our wonderful judges Jesse Briton, Nick White and Jo Backhouse for giving up their time. All winning scripts will be performed at the Page to Stage Performance Night on Thursday 26th June. The show starts at 7pm; tickets cost just £4 and are free to entrants!

The winning scripts are:

No Fishing by Helen Monks

Pillow Talk by Helen Monks

As I Go Along by Simon Walsh

The Bits That Were You by Heather Lister
