@2K Theatre - The Vicar of Dibley
The team from the award winning @2K Theatre is back by popular demand this May bringing much laughter from screen to stage in their latest offering
The Vicar of Dibley
Meet the residents of the Village as, after the sudden loss of The Rev Pottle, they welcome their new Vicar, not the bloke with ‘a beard, Bible and bad breath’ as they were expecting, but ‘a babe with a bob cut and a magnificent bosom’….Geraldine Granger.
Mrs Cropley provides the anchovy and peanut butter sandwiches as, David Horton, accompanied by his hapless son Hugo, Alice the Verger and Owen the farmer sit around the Village Hall meeting table with Jim ‘no, no, no, no, yes!’ Trott. All stalwart members of the Dibley Parish Council working haphazardly together making important Village decisions, ably and slowly aided by Frank Pickle taking the minutes.
How will St Barnabus’ Church manage the changes?
Will Alice and Hugo declare their love for one another?
Will Owen’s insides settle down long enough for a kiss with the right woman?
Will Frank manage to minute it all?
And will it all end with a shared joke from Alice and Geraldine?
There’s only one way to know for sure and that’s to come along and see for yourselves and share the fun.
This performance will be collecting money to support the work of Comic Relief.
