On a lake somewhere not far away, a mother duck is sitting on her eggs. But one doesn’t look like the others; it’s a different shape, a brighter colour and is much, much bigger! What will happen when the egg hatches and what stories will hatch with it?

Join Above Bounds Theatre Collective as they explore one of the most loved Hans Christian Anderson stories using songs, shadow puppetry and a little of your input to tell this famous tale. Come along on the journey with our Ugly Duck; there’s sure to be gasps, laughs and a few surprises along the way.

Ever wanted to tell stories in a unique way? Above Bounds Theatre Collective invite you to join them in an exciting shadow puppety workshop. Focusing on Hand Christian Anderson's fairy tales, create your own shadow puppets to entertain the family at home! Adult supervisions is advised although experienced facilitators, Helen Bovey and George Boundy, will be on hand to help.
